He was smart enough to remove all stickers on the outside of the card so it can't be identifiable, my question is, is there anything imprinted on the board under the cooler to identify who purchased the card? or maybe a serial number on the GPU die itself? or a serial number in a read-only chip? the warranty sticker on one of the 4 main tiny screws surrounding the GPU is still there so he probably didn't open the card up, just cleaned it of stickers from the outside. I contacted him and he naturally denied and said that he sent the real thing. I wanna explain my situation real quick here: I sent a guy 400 euros privately through the Bank to buy his slightly used STRIX GTX 1080, he lived in a different city and I was so naive as to send the money without actually testing the card and seeing it for myself and what happened is a shock to nobody, he sent me a STRIX 1060 in a STRIX 1080 box without any accessories or anything.
